About

Anne Yale is the author of Liturgy of Small Feathers, a poetry collection that explores belief, grapples with faith, and speaks of encountering love. She holds an M.A. in English, With Distinction, from the Creative Writing program at California State University-Northridge (CSUN).

During her tenure as a high school English/Language Arts teacher, she also concocted What’s THAT Word?, a workbook of amusing lessons and activities designed to help adolescents develop a college-prep vocabulary while exercising both their wit and their writing skills.

She dwells in the Mojave Desert, but swears she’s “just passing through.”

Girl, you have always been awesome. Where were you when I was in high school? Oh yeah, at Tech with me!!! Keep on inspiring this generation; you always inspire me. Congratulations on your success; wishing you so much more.

    • Thank you so much! Believe me, I’ve watched you work, and you’ve also been an inspiration to me! And I think we all got that “inspiring word” from our shared experiences at Tech… and now, it’s our JOB to keep it going!

Anne – Congratulations! I am looking forward to reading your poetry. I am a haiku aficionado. Here’s one in your honor:

    Anne is writing poems
And blogs for the world to see
    Her creative side!
