Passersby

Welcome! My name is Anne Yale, and I have been practicing poem-craft for as long as I can remember. This blog will explore the fine art of making poems by looking closely at things like narrative (“yarn-spinning”) and diction (“fabric choices”), just to rattle off a few of my favorites.

I like to mosey, meander, and take side trips. This is how I find interesting things to examine and write about. Sometimes I get lost. Eventually, however, I find my way back to the point. That is just my way of saying that you might find information related to writing in general, or a discussion of “meritorious conduct” regarding another poet’s work, or perhaps even some literary criticism and commentary on this site.

I hope you enjoy the read.
